Mark Conway – Sr. Program Lead, NetApp Academic Alliances Program

  • Mark is the Sr. Program Lead directing the development and roll-out of NetApp’s Academic Alliances Program; he has developed and led an array of innovative industry -academic partnership programs throughout his career. Mark joined NetApp in 2010 from Oracle Corporation, where he was a director for BI Product Marketing. He also worked in Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Strategy group, leading academic and thought leadership initiatives. Prior to Oracle, Mark led Hyperion Solutions Academic Alliances, where he managed its collaborations with schools of business worldwide. Mark launched PeopleSoft’s On Campus program in 1998 and directed PeopleSoft’s global academic partnership programs for six years.

    Mark was a founding member of Digital Equipment Corporation’s (DEC) Internet Business Group, and led Digital’s worldwide ISP marketing programs for three years. He served in several marketing roles in the Education & Research Industries group, and he worked for five years in DEC’s Corporate Research External Research Program managing university-based, sponsored research projects.

    Mark is a frequent speaker at conferences and has been a guest lecturer at institutions such as the University at Albany, Arizona State University, Boston University, Bentley University, the University of Massachusetts, South Dakota State, and the SP Jain Institutes of Management in Singapore and Dubai. Mark has a Masters in Technology, Strategy & Policy from Boston University and a Masters in Education from Northeastern University.
